From cradle to career, Valley of the Sun United Way’s vision is that all children and youth in Maricopa County are prepared for success in school, college work and life.

Children need lots of nurturing and support as they make their way through the education pipeline. Valley of the Sun United Way collaborates with partners to "insulate" the academic pipeline with quality youth development programs, academic assistance and critical basic support services (in school and community settings) to ensure youth have every opportunity to develop and achieve critical milestones of success step along their journey.
