Bank of Arizona
Valley of the Sun United Way would like to recognize Bank of Arizona and its employees who increased their employee giving campaign for the sixth year in a row. The Bank of Arizona campaign raised $55,900, with over $50,000 of that coming from the employees themselves.  Considering the bank has fewer than 100 employees, this campaign was quite an accomplishment!  Big thanks go out to the 19 leadership givers and energetic Employee Campaign Managers, who encourage all team members to participate in some way.  Over the last few years, Bank of Arizona has really made an effort to integrate VSUW into the employee culture, and it shows.  Thank you Bank of Arizona!

Central Arizona Shelter Services
Central Arizona Shelter Services was recognized by Valley of the Sun United Way with the OUTSTANDING AGENCY AWARD at the 2010 LIVE UNITED event. The Outstanding Agency Award recognizes a local health and human service agency for their outstanding campaign performance.  The agency must have a minimum of $10,000 in total campaign revenue with at least 70% of its total campaign supporting the work of Valley of the Sun United Way.  This year CASS employees raised over $14,000 with nearly 100% of those funds going directly to VSUW.

The staff of CASS relates to the importance of giving back to the community. Not only do they work daily with those in need, but chose to personally endorse Valley of the Sun United Way with over 80% employee participation in their workforce campaign. CASS also lends its support to VSUW by participating in the VSUW Agency Speaker program, by hosting agency tours, and by supporting Project Homeless Connect.

CitiMortgage
CitiMortgage takes giving, volunteering and advocating to another level. The company supports the community throughout the year by hosting shoe drives, food drives and participating in various volunteer events. A number of CitiMortgage employees have been recognized with the company’s Presidential Award for Excellence due to their dedication and commitment to the community. Naturally, by the time campaign season comes, CitiMortgage employees are ready to participate and embrace the partnership that it has with the United Way.

Henkel
There's no doubt about it – Henkel and its employees are true champions for Valley of the Sun United Way. At a recent volunteer event, Henkel employees made a difference in the lives of 10,000 families and their children by bringing VSUW’s growth wheels up to date. Henkel employees also assembled 8,000 personal care kits for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Finally, Henkel volunteers helped more than 110 children in the foster care system by assembling games and scrapbook pages. Thank you again Henkel for your continued support.
