Cause Marketing Partnerships

Just like our generous donors and hardworking volunteers, these organizations have partnered with Valley of the Sun United Way to unite against homelessness, to unite against hunger, to fight for the success of children, and to fight for financial stability in the Valley. By shopping with these businesses, you’re taking the steps to join us, to Unite Against the Cycle of Poverty. These businesses are dedicating a portion of their proceeds to United Way. It’s an easy and fun way to give back and benefit your community.

Join us at Kickoff for Kids at Half Moon Sports Grill throughout the month of August! Donate $5 and you will be entered into our sports and entertainment memorabilia raffle benefiting childhood hunger initiatives. Prizes include tickets to see the Arizona Coyotes plus a signed #6 Chychrun photo, Arizona Cardinals vs. Raiders tickets, tickets to the Florida Georgia Line concert, and more! Visit either Half Moon Sports Grill location (Biltmore location at 2121 East Highland Avenue, Phoenix and Moon Valley location at 288 East Greenway Parkway) to participate.

Enjoy Papa John’s pizza anytime using the promo code UNITEPHX and you will receive 40% off your entire pizza order and Papa John’s will give some dough back by donating 10% of your order to Valley of the Sun United Way to end hunger. Order at papajohns.com.

Every little bit counts and when supporters of United Way shop at smile.amazon.com, the donations quickly add up. It’s super easy to help ensure kids in the Valley succeed by shopping the world’s largest marketplace. Remember, only purchases at smile.amazon.com will provide donations, purchases on amazon.com or the mobile app do not donate.

Use your Fry’s V.I.P. card every time you shop and you can help end hunger with United Way. If you already have a Fry’s V.I.P. card go to frysfood.com in your account summary, find ‘Community Rewards’ and click enroll to register your existing card with United Way’s organization code HU101. If you don’t have a V.I.P. Card, go to the customer service desk at any Valley Fry’s Food and Drug stores.

Provide your child with a strong foundation for learning during kindergarten. United Way's School Readiness Kit is designed by education experts for children ages 3 to 5. With more than 80 reading and math activities in English and Spanish, they'll hit the ground running for their first day of school. Purchase a School Readiness Kit from our partner, Scholastic, and we will receive a portion of the proceeds to fund programs that help kids succeed in school.

Thank you to our promotional partner, First Watch, who along with United Way will be recognizing and rewarding a Volunteer of the Month with First Watch Brunch Bucks for a job well done! Congrats to Mark from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona for being our Volunteer of the Month! Thank you, Mark, for making a difference in our community.

THANKS TO OUR PARTNERS

Thank you to our community partner Target for building and donating 100 teacher kits for the educators in the Murphy School district #21 in Phoenix. Awesome work!

We love that the Arizona Lottery is a part of our mobile volunteerism programs at United Way.

Congrats to former AZ Cardinal Antoine Bethea for being nominated for the NFL-United Way’s Walter Payton Man of the Year. Because of Antoine’s commitment to community service and through his own Safe Coverage Foundation, teens will have access and resources to higher education. Thank you to Nationwide and the NFL Foundation for being a community partner with us. Way to Live United, Antoine!

Thank you to the team at Bank of America who supports our Erasing Hunger in the Classroom programs. Because of Corporate partners like Bank of America, thousands of students in Maricopa County are receiving WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks.
