Hungry for Change: Community Advocate

My Story

Reachedl - passionate advocate for Breakfast in the ClassroomWHO: Reachel, mom to four kids

CITY: Mesa

MOTTO: Pretty isn’t a luxury, it’s a right. Despite your budget, size, or age, fashion should help you match your outside to your inside.

WHY I SUPPORT BREAKFAST IN THE CLASSROOM: Breakfast in the Classroom is an elegant solution to a solvable problem. I love how it involves the whole classroom, ensuring that everyone is included.

YOU KNOW ME: I’m a mother of four and a teacher at Mesa Community College. I’ve seen first generation college students become some of the most successful students in their program. And I want to make sure no one misses out on the opportunity to learn because of hunger.

My Challenge to You: Learn More

About Child Hunger in the Valley

  • Give - Every dollar makes a difference for local kids and families.
  • Learn More - The more you know the better equipped you'll be to discuss child hunger in schools.
  • Spread the Word - Every share on social media increases awareness of this important issue.

My Community Advocate Partners

I've partnered with eight other Valley moms from Gilbert to Glendale to help spread the word. Become a passionate champion for ending hunger in local classrooms by raising your voice, too!
