End Hunger at Home and in the Classroom
For children with limited access to food at home, school may be the only place to get a nutritious meal. We believe in helping kids have a better relationship with food and more focus on education, not hunger.
Unexpected expenses can lead to difficult financial decisions. Providing meals through the emergency food system allows families to put food on the table and focus on other matters that can help break the cycle of poverty and get back to the path of financial stability.
Homelessness in Maricopa County is on the rise. Each situation is different and there isn’t just one solution. We partner with emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing partners to offer emergency and long-term housing options.
Financial stability starts with financial knowledge. This is why we are the only non-profit that provides free financial coach training to case managers in Maricopa County. Case managers are already working with families every day. With our training, they gain the knowledge they need to easily integrate financial coaching into their daily work with clients. With coaching, families learn about money management, household budgeting, credit repair, personal financial priority setting, and more.
