We fight to break the cycle of poverty by connecting thousands of Valley residents to resources that end homelessness.
The red tape someone must navigate to break the cycle can make it seem like an impossible task. Even with the will to work hard, access and transportation to the proper resources may be a challenge. On any given day, thousands of people in our community are facing these challenges.
Valley of the Sun United Way started Project Connect to bring together a broad range of vital health and human services to a single accessible location. These critical resources are provided at a different Valley location each month to broaden their reach and scope.
You can join the fight to break the cycle when you sign up to volunteer at an upcoming event. Check back soon for the current Project Connect schedule.
More than 13,000 individuals have been helped by Project Connect since its launch in June 2008. Our volunteers play a crucial role, acting as guides and working one-on-one with guests to help them make the most of the services on site.
