SOLUTIONS AT WORK

Pathways to Economic Opportunity

This initiative gives Black and Latina young women in the Phoenix area resources to close the wealth gap, by providing job skills training, wrap around supports, financial literacy workshops, work experiences, as well as access to professional women mentors.

Fair Chance Collaborative

Valley of the Sun United Way’s new Fair Chance Collaborative aims to arm businesses with the resources and tools needed to incorporate Fair Chance hiring practices.

OUR WORKFORCE PARTNERS

We will not only provide resources to help individuals prepare to earn a living wage, but to increase the number or people in our community who achieve higher paying wages. This work will rely on the experience and know-how of our partners. The below Coalition members focus on our Mighty workforce development goals and develop strategies to create impact. When informed by the Coalition and their Action Teams, we change course as needed to stay focused on the right programs and solutions to reach our bold goals for Maricopa County.
