Housing &
Homelessness
We ensure all can have a safe home to call their own.
Having a safe and stable place to call home is a critical foundation for addressing health, education, and workforce development challenges. Without stable housing, it becomes significantly harder for individuals and families to maintain good health, succeed in school, or secure sustainable employment. We are working closely with our partners to ensure that people and families in Maricopa County have access to safe, affordable housing. Looking ahead, we will collaborate with regional leaders to strengthen eviction prevention efforts, helping more residents remain in their homes and avoid the devastating impacts of housing instability.

MC2026 GOALS
SOLUTIONS AT WORK

For people experiencing poverty, it can be difficult to navigate through all the organizations needed to meet with to get back on track. Thanks to our donors, United Way makes it simple for any individual or family experiencing or near homelessness to connect to vital services at Project Connect.
OUR HOUSING PARTNERS
We are increasing investments in services and programs that not only address immediate needs, but also prioritize social determinants and wraparound support to prevent and assist those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. These community partners focus on our housing and homelessness goals, developing strategies that create meaningful and lasting impact.
