In Arizona only one-third of children have access to quality child care. A quality center has:
- Low child to teacher ratio
- On-going staff training
- Positive interaction
- Age appropriate activities
- As well as other factors that improve a child’s environment
Kids that attend high quality care centers are proven to have better math, language and social skills when they enter school, which is essential to a great start in school and life. We believe all children deserve that start. To break the cycle of poverty, we must fight for children, their families, and the neighborhoods they live in.
