Financial donation is one of the greatest ways to help in case of disasters when given to a reputable charity. It means being able to provide whatever the greatest need is as the needs change. United Ways across the affected areas are accepting donations and United Way Worldwide has set up a fund where 100% of the profits will go to recovery efforts.

While the rebuilding process begins, volunteers will be needed. It’s very important to register or apply to volunteer and wait to be contacted as organizations will have to assess the situation and the specific needs first.
