Vello, the virtual tutoring program making its way into elementary schools across the nation, has finished the pilot period and is ready to launch into the new school year. The program allows passionate professionals to be a tutor from anywhere, even on their lunch break at work, with children in need of one on one attention to build their reading skills.

- In 93% of classrooms, Vello was used daily
- 86% of teachers saw improved reading skills of their tutored students
- 79% of teachers felt it improved engagement for the whole class, not just the tutored students
Parents
- 86% of parents had noticed improved at home reading engagement
Volunteers
- 79% of Vello volunteers had improved their volunteer efficacy
Students
- Tutored students had a mean benchmark growth rate of 71.16% compared to the growth rate of 67.45% for non-tutored students
