Last Thursday at Calvary Community Church, the community came together again, joining the fight to break the cycle of poverty at Project Connect.
More than 200 volunteers and 40 providers were there to help 385 guests find the resources they need. 70% of guests said they received services they did not have access to before Project Connect.
Because of these game-changers, guests were connected to nearly 1500 services.
206 people were able to make the right connections to receive a state ID and/or birth certificate, a crucial piece to applying for jobs and housing.
Thanks to Basic Mission, Calvary Phoenix Church, City of Phoenix Vice Mayor Thelda Williams, City of Phoenix District 1 Interfaith Council, Arizona Department of Corrections, and other partners as well as our donors and volunteers for your help at Project Connect.
We can’t do it alone. Join us at the next Project Connect on May 17th in Avondale.
