Retire United is a Valley of the Sun United Way group of volunteers who are retired or near retirement that are looking for a way to connect with new people while investing time in creating a stronger community.
You can use your specific skill set to build up Maricopa County. Retirement doesn’t have to mean you stop doing what you’re good at! Retire United offers a way for you to keep using your skills, it takes a wide variety of abilities to complete a goal.
The projects United Way does with Retire United range from online tutoring to help children read with Vello, to ensuring young kids get a head start so they're ready for school, or assisting with families working to become financially stable. With a group of great people and a great cause, you’re sure to have a wonderful time!
