Help provide education materials and information for local Pre-K children and their families that will allow them to build a foundation of developmental, cognitive, social, and emotional skills they need once they enter a classroom environment by assembling School Readiness Kits, preparing them for delivery.

Some children rely on food at school for all of their meals. With WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks, these kids and their families have access to nutritious meals throughout the weekend so students can return to school on Monday ready to learn and take on a new week! Volunteers at the assembly help to put together the food items in individual bags to be delivered to local schools.

Once WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks are prepared, volunteers will pick up the assembled bags and deliver them to the proper schools!
Teachers can hand them out to their students before they go home for the weekend.

Take action and fight to end homelessness when you volunteer at Project Connect. Here, we work with community partners to provide solutions that address the root causes of homelessness and help people start the journey back to health, financial stability, and housing. Services include things like a meal, clothing, showers, job placement, housing assistance, and more. There are several options and shifts available for volunteer opportunities at these events including our greatest need, guest guides, as well as data entry, guest registration, and tear down.

Add new crops to local community gardens! These gardens offer access to fresh produce that families may not have otherwise and is a space for communities to connect with each other and is a great opportunity for a hands-on education experience for kids.
