There are many great volunteers throughout the Valley who unite to break the cycle of poverty in Maricopa County. Project Connect is one event that brings these volunteers together several times a year, helping people in our community connect to the resources they need.
At the November Project Connect more than 170 volunteers helped over 230 guests get connected to 2,540 services from one or more of our 36 partners at the event in just one day! Guests reported that their favorite parts of their experience included the meals made available for the day, access to new clothes, and the volunteers that made it happen.
Take a look at the photos from the day and see if you spot a volunteer you know!
Special thanks to South Mountain Community College, Maricopa Community Colleges District, Basic Mission, Hunt Real Estate, AZ Department of Economic Security, and the Created Equal Trigger Exhibits.
You can join the fight by joining us at our next Project Connect on Thursday, December 13!
