When visiting an unfamiliar country, nothing dispels the feeling of foreignness like a warm greeting and a friendly smile. A simple welcoming gesture can make the difference in whether a newcomer feels at home or would rather go home.
That’s the idea behind the Women’s Leadership Council’s new Ambassador Program. Active members who know the ropes are charged with welcoming and onboarding new members. It all starts with a face-to-face meeting where she’ll make connections and answer questions, and then extends to attending events where she’ll introduce newcomers to fellow members and assist them in finding their own unique place in the Council.
We’re excited to launch a program that ensures new members know they’re not only welcome, but valued.
