The Latinx small business community continues to grow as more entrepreneurs graduate from the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator Program.
The accelerator program is a free, 6 month program designed to provide tools and training on running and maintaining a business. Valley of the Sun United Way is proud to have partnered with Local First Arizona by sponsoring a Guadalupe cohort to attend this program. At the end of the program, business owners have a registered LLC, a strong brand, and confidence in who they are and what their target audience is.
The graduation event was held in a trade show setting with all of the businesses showcasing their business and allowing visitors, loved ones, and media to see what they have worked so hard to create. The business display tables were a beautiful exhibit of diverse culture and innovative ideas that have come to fruition, in part from the aid and guidance of the Fuerza Local program.
United Way fights for the local community. Partnering with Local First Arizona to sponsor businesses for the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator Program is another way that the community can strive and give back to one another and break the cycle of poverty.
