Thanks to 2-1-1 Arizona, connection to services is just a phone call away. Anyone can dial 2-1-1 and reach the community information and referral services line to help them get connected to a local organization that can help with their situation.
Unfortunately, this line is only available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. But emergencies and other needs happen around the clock. In partnership with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, we are asking the state legislature to restore state funding to have 24/7 access!
By supporting 2-1-1, we are increasing access and use of community and faith-based services, as 82% of referrals under the current hours were to private organizations. Making use of these private programs cuts the cost of public services.
