The Pathways to Economic Opportunity program provides access to apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships, and internships to young Black and Latina women ages 16-24, in Maricopa County, to help develop necessary job skills and industry-recognized qualifications. As a participant, you will have all the resources needed to complete your work-based learning opportunity and a dedicated team to help support you along the way!

Mentor
Dedicated Professional Black or Latina mentor in the career field of your interest to meet with you two hours a month to help guide and support you in developing the personal and professional skills you need.
Speaker Series
Opportunity to hear and learn from professional Black and Latina women about their career fields and ask job related questions about their challenges and accomplishments.
Financial Literacy Workshop
Receive guidance on how to create a budget and stick to it. Learn how to save money by prioritizing your monthly budget.
Wrap-Around Support
Receive technical and financial support to assist with items such as, but not limited to, technology, exam fees, professional attire and books to ensure you can successfully complete your work-based learning opportunity.

Black or Latina Young Women between the ages of 16 to 24, at the time of program application, and reside in Maricopa County. Enrolled in an Internship, registered Apprenticeship, or working on Pre-Apprenticeship requirements.
