April was a month of volunteerism with Operation Uplift. With this movement, community members and partner organizations unite and rise up to address community needs by tackling multiple projects in a single day for a big impact. Last month was packed with the community giving of their time and talents coming together to fight for the neighborhoods we live in.
You did it! It was incredible to see all the 540 volunteers who were a HUGE part of breaking the cycle of poverty in Maricopa County with Operation Uplift. United, you completed 21 events to help with beautification, gardens, and more! Take a peek at some of the fun we had at a few events with these videos and photos.
We also launched a new micro-grant program where volunteer project ideas from community leaders were made possible. So far we have given 14 micro-grants, with more available! These micro-grants are open through June 30th. If you are a 501(c)3, school, or non-profit organization interested in applying, click below for more information!
