We see more and more commitment in our volunteers to break the cycle of poverty in our community at each Project Connect. This month we combined Project Connect and Operation Uplift to make one big mark at Monte Vista Nazarene in Phoenix. Thanks to our partners at Basic Mission, American Family Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, Maricopa County Community Colleges, USAA, ON Semiconductor, and the many others that joined us.
United, 135 volunteers assisted more than 320 guests by connecting them with a total of 1,801 services from the 39+ providers at Project Connect in just one day. Take a look at the photos from the event!
This wouldn’t be possible without the help of ON Semiconductor’s sponsorship of this month’s event. Thank you so much for joining the fight to break the cycle!
We hope to see you again at Maricopa County StandDown on Thursday, January 24th and Friday, January 25th at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. You can also join us at our next Operation Uplift projects over Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.
