AZCEND is currently looking for a skilled volunteer to help with revamping and designing their website. Some of the current requests with the website are:
Arizona Housing Inc. is currently looking for a skilled volunteer to help with developing a database and dashboard for the organization. The skilled volunteer has to be familiar with macros, formulas, and pivot tables. Arizona Housing Inc. is interested in using a secure FTP, and currently utilizes both Yardi and Quickbooks.

The Human Services Campus downtown is in need of Community Health Workers who would be able to do short shifts conducting the COVID-19 assessment and take temperatures of clients. This need is open every day each week, and can be any timeframe between 7 am and 6 pm.
Teachers and resource staff. Healthcare Workers. Essential Workers. Child Care Providers. Take a moment to show your support of essential personnel in our community who work closely with Valley of the Sun United Way. Write a personal note to remind these dedicated staff members how valued and appreciated they are and how they’re making a difference in our local communities and neighborhoods.
Social distancing is affecting us all but can be especially hard if you are away from family and friends completely. You can help brighten someone’s day by writing a note, drawing a picture of sending a card and let someone know you are thinking about them. For extra care, please seal your cards using a wet sponge/glue stick.
Our local and community nonprofits are in need of masks, and you can help by making masks at home! With basic materials that you can find at home, you can help make and donate to multiple nonprofits around the valley.

Create cards with positive phrases to show that a caring adult believes in each student. These cards are shared throughout schools in the valley.
Create an easy upcycled toy using t-shirts for our communities’ furry friends.
Make flash cards to help a child get a head start on their education.
Please follow recommended guidelines if you wish to volunteer at an organization in our community. Many agencies are taking precautions to keep volunteers and clients safe during this time.
St. Mary's needs volunteers to assist in sorting food and other needs for the foodbank at that time. Various shifts are available.

AZCEND continues to need volunteer to assist in the Food Bank, to deliver Meals on Wheels through their Home Delivered Meal Program, and to prepare and drop off I-HELP meals. Various shifts are available and they are open Monday-Friday.

Join Valley Leadership this summer for its Farm to Family program with Fresh Connections. Volunteers can join this program through its many steps: Garden Maintenance, Harvest n-Intake & Prep and Tote Prep & Packing, Tote Distribution. Various shifts available through July.

Big Brothers Big Sisters has a strong need for mentors for one to one volunteering throughout the Valley.They are especially in need of male mentors in the South and West areas of the valley.
Future for Kids is looking for volunteers to participate in their after school, small group mentoring program – Discover Your Future. Volunteers are needed staring in August but welcome to start anytime.
