Valley of the Sun United Way’s Help The Working Poor Fund is our tax credit mechanism. United Way uses contributions to fund its own efforts to fight poverty in the community as well as sharing resources with other organizations dealing with homelessness, hunger and other related issues.

At South Mountain Community College on November 2, with over 180 volunteers and 40 providers, our community came together to break the cycle of poverty for every child, individual, and family in Maricopa County.
