Transform Lives and Communities
A “foundation” is the base of anything that’s built – a house, a building or even a mission to transform lives. It is the core source of strength and stability. With a good foundation, you can build anything — even better communities.
Valley of the Sun United Way’s Foundation Circle recognizes the transformational support of donors who designate their significant contributions directly to achieving our Community Objectives: Ensure Children and Youth Succeed, End Hunger and Homelessness, and Increase the Financial Stability of Families and Individuals.
Membership is reserved for donors who commit a cumulative lifetime minimum of $100,000 directly to the work of Valley of the Sun United Way. This total includes annual giving, endowment, programmatic and deferred gifts. It’s a powerful statement of support.
But it’s more than just a statement. Foundation Circle donors are literally the base of the work we do at Valley of the Sun United Way, the support structure we build around. Everything we do as an organization — from our efforts to End Hunger and Homelessness to our ability to reach out for communitywide support — is possible thanks to these caring and generous philanthropists.
Foundation Circle members receive the gratitude of their community, but also the knowledge that they are making a significant contribution to helping children, families and seniors across the Valley — which is perhaps the greatest reward of all.
