You did it! It was incredible to see all the 540 volunteers who were a HUGE part of breaking the cycle of poverty in Maricopa County with Operation Uplift.
Did you miss our events in April for National Volunteer Month? That’s okay! There are more opportunities for you to join us at any of these volunteer activities throughout the month of May!
This month we have seen some of the best volunteers helping us out with Operation Uplift. To thank these volunteers and celebrate their accomplishments, we have partnered with the Local First World Bazaar PHX!
With an Operation Uplift Micro-grant, schools, churches, and 501(c)3 organizations are able to apply for assistance with tools, materials, or financial needs to complete a project to improve a piece of the community.
Kids Fest, which was held at Friendship Park in Avondale last weekend on April 6th, was an amazing opportunity for volunteers to come together and create a Book-In-A-Bag for each child. Our Book-In-A-Bag Project makes literacy fun for kids.
