Give and get back. That’s the motto of the Arizona tax credit with Valley of the Sun United Way. When you choose to give to the Helping the Working Poor fund, you could receive a dollar for dollar tax credit up to $400 for individuals and $800 for couples.
In Roosevelt last Saturday, Operation Uplift continued as people gathered to rise up. Nearly 140 volunteers, including 83 Arizona State University students, assisted with multiple tasks in the area in just one day.
